RIVER COTTAGE at Le Tiercent is on the bank of a small river La Minette (in French : the Kitten)which is a tributary of the Couesnon flowing into the sea at Mont St Michel . On the site of the southern lodgehouse of the 17C Chateau of Le Tiercent it is a large ,granite built breton cottage. The riverbank winds round the bend of the watermeadow. Small trout and the occasional large one inhabit the stream.
A restaurant is only 500 mtrs away and the Chateau makes for a beautiful walk up through the woods.
The small town of St.Brice -en- Cogles with its shops are 4 miles away.
